Generative AI Instructor (Practitioner Faculty)

Heicoders Academy is a leading AI skills accelerator in Singapore. We deliver practitioner-led programmes to professionals from government agencies, Fortune 500 companies, and leadership teams across Singapore and the region. Unlike conventional training providers, our instructors are selected based on real industry experience applying Generative AI at work, not instructional certification alone. This role is not for everyone. Many of our sessions include managers, domain experts, and leadership stakeholders. We therefore maintain a higher instructor bar than typical training providers. Our learners expect instructors who have done the work, not just studied it.

You will deliver applied Generative AI training that helps professionals improve how they work. This includes: - translating AI concepts into practical workflows - demonstrating real organisational use cases - guiding non-technical participants through hands-on exercises - engaging experienced professionals and leadership stakeholders confidently - contributing to improvements in course content as the AI landscape evolves This role suits practitioners who are comfortable teaching working professionals and representing real-world AI adoption.

We are selective about who we bring onto our instructor faculty. Applicants should have: - at least 3 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, AI Engineer, Data Scientist, or Technical Product Manager experience applying Generative AI in real organisational settings, not experimentation alone - minimum Second Upper Class Honours or equivalent in a relevant Bachelor’s degree - the ability to explain complex ideas clearly to non-technical audiences - strong presence when facilitating sessions attended by experienced professionals and leadership stakeholders - empathy for learners who are new to Generative AI - a genuine belief in the role education plays in career transformation
